Background story

Aircraft shown with external Tank, AIM-9L (i) SIDEWINDER air-to-air missile, electronic jammer POD Cerberus C-III and multi-purpose-weapon MW-1.

The multi-purpose weapon MW-1 consists of 4 container with an overall of 112 ejection tubes from which the so-called submunition is ejected to the side. The weapon is capable for operation in high-speed lowest level flight.

The following submunition is available for the MW-1:

miniature hollow-explosive charge bomblet (KB-44)
double flat-charge mine (MIFF)
multi-splitter explosive (MUSA)
runway bomb (STABO)

The complete MW-1 is either filled with only one kind of submunition or with a mix. The only exception are STABO which are never mixed with other submunition.
