Background story

For the NATO Tiger Meet 2003 in Cambrai, France, the 321 Tigers from Lechfeld painted a new tigerjet which was ECR 46+54. This design again, like a couple before, came from the squadron designer and painter Maj. Andreas "Lukas" Krach, who also was a squadron pilot. This time it was again a design which covered the whole jet and was held mainly in a colourish dark design which underlines the tiger scheme in the middle of the jet. The two eyecatchers of the jet are the fiercely looking tiger head with its yellow-orange eyes on the tail and the starting HARM missile which fits elegantly into the tactical registration number underneath the cockpit.
